About
Gretchen Hilmers was born in Washington DC and graduated from George Mason University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. For the last six years she has dodged fires, mudslides and earthquakes in order to call Los Angeles home. She spent almost three years working full-time for Jill Greenberg as her retoucher and digital assets manager.
With over eight years of retouching experience she continues to strive for the best outcome to any project. Images she has worked on have graced the covers of Time, Fast Company, Los Angeles Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, The Advocate, Wired, TV Guide, among others.
She has also worked with major advertising companies including BBDO, Cripsin, Porter + Bogusky, Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners, Mono, Grey, Hanft Raboy, and Saatchi.
Her entertainment experience extends to STARZ, Discovery, and TV Land with an ever growing portfolio.
