Collage of various images of Gretchen

First and foremost, I love life. I love my husband, my family and my work.

Although this site is filled with little bits of humor throughout, I am serious when it comes to my relationships with my clients and the work that comes out of my studio. That being said, I don't have to be stuffy about how I interact. ;D

I was born in DC and raised in a lot of towns that started with the letter A. I attended George Mason University where I worked my butt off for a BFA in photo and a minor in Art History (focus on pop art and abstract expressionism). It was in college that I met my husband, Rob Hessler, and over a decade later here we are!

I worked as Jill Greenberg's full-time retoucher from August 2007 until May 2010 when I went solo with G-TOU. Originally established in Los Angeles, I relocated to beautiful Savannah in late 2011. Since then I have been working on a lot of fantastic projects with a lot of amazing photographers and can't wait to see what comes next.

I'm very approachable and flexible to those I interact with, so please feel free to contact me. And I'm also happy to take questions if you're looking to figure out how to do something.
